Voldico Hires New President

Voldico Insurance, Osgood, Indiana – Jerry J. Vollmer, Chief Executive Officer, announced today that Voldico Insurance has hired John Robinson.  John will serve the Company as President of Voldico Insurance.  Robinson will oversee strategy setting, operational and revenue growth initiatives. He will be the primary relationship manager with Voldico’s insurance carriers.  Robinson will work out of the Indianapolis area. 

CEO Jerry Vollmer commented, “It’s exciting to have someone of Robinson’s caliper joining us to help significantly grow this dynamic company”.  Robinson added, “We expect to grow exponentially taking advantage of agency perpetuation opportunities, technology advancements and ways to enhance customer satisfaction”.

Prior to Voldico, Robinson ran a successful private consulting firm focused on insurance agency mergers and acquisitions.  He has extensive North American financial experience having worked for Ernst & Young and ING Financial during the early part of his career.  Over the past 20 years he has worked extensively in the U.S. Property & Casualty sector.  Robinson spent many of those years working with Liberty Mutual Group - Regional Agency Markets in executive leadership roles with Indiana Insurance, Peerless Insurance, GoAmerica Auto Insurance, America First Insurance and Montgomery Insurance.  More recently he was Regional President, Midwest with Hanover Insurance and COO with Old National Insurance, an Indianapolis-based top 20 bank-owned insurance agency.

Robinson is a graduate of the Wharton School Advanced Executive Insurance Program.  He has studied at Dartmouth College and has an undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario. He holds the CIC, CPA and CGA professional designations.
