Are you moving forward or falling behind?

Have you ever thought that if you aren’t looking to the future, you’re moving backward? Well, if you hadn’t previously, it might be something to start considering now.

At the beginning of May, Voldico Insurance agents listened to speaker Myron Kanning, a business instructor at the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University.   He brought it to our attention that if a company isn’t looking into the future of their business; they’re already, inevitably falling behind.  When he said that, my first thought was technology.  WOW!  How it’s changed and how businesses (and the public) use it, is completely different than it was 10 years ago.  For instance, I’m sure Apple Inc. was looking to the future a decade ago and, undoubtedly, are already thinking & planning for 2024.

Every successful company has to constantly be on their toes and anticipate the next move before their competition does or they’ve already lost out on business and customers.  Although it’s hard to anticipate what the future might look like for anything, including your business, it definitely pays to put some thought into it.  So, has it crossed your mind to start up an insurance agency?  Or, maybe, take your agency to the next level with carrier access or operational support?  It just might be worth your time to check into Voldico.

Even in personal matters, people tend to live for today rather than looking to future.  Sure, most people purchase insurance for their possessions but did you ever wonder if it was enough to cover everything?  What if…my house caught on fire?  …my car got stolen?  …my neighbors tree fell on my house?  What if my spouse or I gets ill & hospitalized?  There are a lot of “what if’s” in life and it’s hard to know what’s going to happen.   We would all like to think that bad things won’t happen to good people but, unfortunately, I’m sure anyone can agree that they do.  Rather than avoid it and cross your fingers, it’s probably better to plan ahead.  And that’s why you have an insurance agent!  Use them to walk you through your coverages, explain what you don’t understand and get you the coverage you need.

So, what are you waiting for?  Go ahead and get planning! And if you think Voldico might be able to help with your insurance business, go ahead and request some membership information here.
